Regarding the insufficient control accuracy of diaphragm micro-flow control valve when matched with an imported valve positioner, which failed to meet the customer's requirements, our company actively communicated with our customer and immediately set up an automated precision testing system for the valve to test and analyze the actual control accuracy of the imported positioner.

Problem analysis:

First of all, the general valve positioner is mostly used in angular displacement sensor. The small valve stroke leads to a small swing angle of the feedback lever, which affects the positioning accuracy. Secondly, long time reciprocating operation will also lead to loosening or wear of feedback lever and other mechanical parts, resulting in large control errors.

Our solution: We propose to use the IP6000 separate-type positioner to solve the problem.

The IP6000 valve positioner is designed to separate the linear sensor from the positioner body.

The linear sensor is installed on the top of the micro-flow control valve through threads. The sensor rod is in direct and close contact with the valve stem inside the valve actuator, ensuring that there is no mechanical loosening or wear in long time operation.

An imported valve positioner is matched with micro-flow control valve for automated testing, the data are as follows:

The IP6000 separate-type valve positioner matching the diaphragm micro-flow control valve is shown in figure 1, with the precision data obtained from automated testing.

Based on the experimental data analysis, the IP6000 separate-type valve positioner has the following advantages:
